(That is a savory turkey burger on an Ezekiel english muffin with some cheddah cheese right there. The turk burg is made with Shadybrook Farms lean ground turkey, black beans, a small amount of chopped onions, a little bit of soy sauce, a little bit of ketchup and a lot of love all mushed up and cooked on my handy dandy collegiate George Foreman grill. Oh yeah and off to the side, a few slices of roasted sweet potato)
Finally, YogaDownload was experienced! Yoga. 20 minutes. For free. At last. Thank you Kristin at IowaGirlEats.
And last but not least... I feel sheepish admitting to this but I think it is best to have full disclosure especially after my last post was called “Nature Goulet”.... Until this evening I have never seen Will Ferrell’s SNL Nature skit in its entirety.
Finally, I errupted with laughter watching Robert Goulet's affinity for nature and bomb a$$ rapping. For anyone else that might have missed the boat growing up I present to you, in all its glory, Nature (GOULET!)

Sorry guys, I am not blogger savvy yet and couldn't figure out how to post the actual VIDEO to my site, so you will have to follow the link! (Anyone care to spare a few minutes to help a girl out?)
The video icon (it's a little film strip) is right next to the icon you click on to add pictures. So glad you finally got them b.sprouts. I need more stat!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comment on my blog!! You are SO very sweet! And I'm super glad that I found yours :)
ReplyDeleteYour burger looks amazing! And aren't roasted Brussels the BEST things ever?
K, I tried that...but it wasn't working. I think it had something to do with the site I got the video from!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jess! You could NOT be more right. Roasted brussel sprouts are fantabulous. Totally getting into them again tonight.
Hi Corrinne,
ReplyDeleteSo nice to meet you. Thanks so much for visiting my blog.
You have an awesome blog! I love your energy. Did that sound too new agey? ;-) In the most down-to-earth way possible, I mean it.
I think I've only ever had brussel sprouts once. My favorite vegetable is cabbage. A lot of people find that weird. Sauteed cabbage with a little salt and pepper served over brown rice--My favorite meal in life!
I tried to find a video of 'Nature Goulet' with a quality wirthy of posting, but alas, all I could find was a grainy video and one on youtube some guy used a camera to record the skit as it played on his t.v. set. ha ha.
Here's the link to the sort of grainy one:

Again, so nice to meet you. You'll definitely be seeing me around a lot more.
P.S. You come to Boston often? That's so cool! Maybe we'll meet up one day.
Aw thanks Ree, you don't sound new agey, you sound like my kind of girl. Good/positive energy is a powerful thing :) That really is a wonderful compliment. You should try out brussels. Here is a GREAT recipe to get into if you aren't sure!

Also thanks for the link AND the recommendation for cabbage. I'm all about trying new veggies, cabbage is NEXT :) Have a nice night!
